The Independent Birmingham City Official Supporters Club (OSC) exists to:

Support Birmingham City Football Club in a positive, respectful, and passionate manner.
Create an inclusive environment where all supporters feel welcome regardless of age, gender, ethnicity, religion, disability, nationality, or background.
Promote camaraderie, friendship, and community among members.
Represent the club and supporters group with pride, integrity, and respect at all times.
Encourage safe, enjoyable, and family-friendly participation in club activities and events.

Member Rules & Expectations

1. Abide by Group Rules

All members must:

Follow the Official Supporters Club constitution, policies, and guidelines.
Respect decisions made by the committee and OSC officials.
Comply with any rules relating to events, travel, meetings, and online platforms.
Understand that failure to follow OSC rules may result in warnings, suspension, or removal of membership.

2. Be Kind and Courteous

Members are expected to:

Treat fellow supporters with respect and dignity.
Welcome new members and help create a positive atmosphere.
Engage in discussions constructively, even when opinions differ.
Avoid abusive, threatening, discriminatory, or offensive language and behaviour.
Respect all volunteers, committee members, group members

3. Use OSC Social Media Channels for Club Interactions

To maintain clear communication:

OSC-related discussions should take place through the Official supporters club’s social media channels and communication platforms.
Members should engage respectfully and responsibly online.
False information, personal attacks, bullying, harassment, or inflammatory comments will not be tolerated.
Members should avoid posting content that could damage the reputation of the OSC or Birmingham City Football Club.
Official announcements should only be made by authorised OSC representatives.

4. Represent the OSC Positively

Members should:

Act as positive ambassadors for the OSC and Birmingham City Football Club.
Conduct themselves responsibly at matches, events, and while travelling.
Respect opposing supporters and match officials.

Members should:

Report concerns regarding safety, misconduct, or inappropriate behaviour to the OSC leadership group

7. Protect the Reputation of the Official Supporters Club

Members must not:

Engage in conduct that brings the Official supporters club into disrepute.
Misrepresent themselves as speaking on behalf of the OSC without authorisation.
Use OSC logos, branding, or materials without permission where approval is required.

Breaches of the Code of Conduct

Any breach of these rules may result in:

Informal discussion or verbal warning.
Written warning.
Suspension of membership privileges.
Removal from the Official Supporters Club where appropriate.

The committee reserves the right to investigate incidents and take appropriate action in the best interests of the supporters club and its members.
