Three points on the road and this one certainly wasn't without drama.
Blues came from behind at Pride Park to secure a 2–1 victory over Derby County and, after the frustration of Norwich in midweek, this felt like an important response.
Blues started brightly. Carlos Vicente caused problems, Jay Stansfield tested the Derby defence and August Priske thought he'd opened the scoring, only for the flag to go up.
There was plenty to like, but once again you felt we needed to be more ruthless. Then, against the run of play, Derby punished us.
Bobby Clark found space and fired beyond James Beadle after 40 minutes. Suddenly, we were behind. But the response was excellent.
Two minutes later, Liam Millar delivered towards the back post and Vicente rose highest to head home. What a player Millar looks!

The second half began with a worrying moment as Derby's Henrik Meister required lengthy treatment before being stretchered off.
Thankfully, Derby later confirmed he was able to leave the stadium unaided. We wish him a speedy recovery.
When play resumed, Davies turned to his bench.
On came Paik Seung-ho.
Four minutes later, Millar's corner found Paik completely unmarked at the back post to head Blues into the lead.
2–1 Blues.
We then had chances to kill it. Stansfield was denied, Vicente continued to threaten and somehow Luis Vázquez put one over an empty net from a few yards out.
We've all played football, Luis. We'll move on...
With 13 minutes added on, Derby threw everything at us. Blues dug in, defended the box and put bodies on the line.
Then, right at the death, our captain Christophe Klarer produced a massive goal-line clearance.
Full-time. Finally.
Was it perfect? No. Should we have killed it earlier? Absolutely.
But after Norwich, today we found a way to win.
Character. Resilience. Three points.
Sometimes an away win doesn't need to be pretty.
Three points back down the A38. We'll take that all day long.
